Contentment

"Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.  I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little." Phillipians 4: 11, 12 (NLT).

My Grandma has this verse posted in her home, more than once, I think.  I used to think that seemed sort of sad.  But why?  True...she doesn't live a lavish life.  But, I truly think she is content with what she has.  She knows she has what she needs.  How blessed she is to have contentment with her Lord and what he has given her.  

I think I need to learn a lesson from her.
